It was late 2013, and life was changing. I first heard Portugal. The Man some time near the beginning of autumn. I started this project in mid December. It started out as something to do. Then it became an examination of myself; my own identity. This period of my life was highly transitional. The lyrics that stood out for each song, seemed to be perfect and highly relevant. This project truly helped me move forward; Breaking free from things I didn't realize I had tangled myself in.
